plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose

A welcome back in November to Dr Divya Kuttappan. Divya completed her GP Speciality Training at Spilsby this summer to gain Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Dr Kuttappan will usually be available in the practice on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. From January 2017, Dr Kieran Sharrock will be spending an extra day in his role as Medical Director for the Lincolnshire Local Medical Committee, and working at Spilsby on Monday and Friday.

Dr Anne-Marie Powell and Dr Catherine Simpson commence full-time GP Speciality Training for 4 months in December 2016, returning in August 2018 for a year.

Thank you to Rhian Aiken for her enormous energy over the last couple of years as a Practice Nurse. Rhian moves on to work for G4S Medical Services, but has kindly offered some ‘bank’ nurse continuity until we are joined in February 2017 by our new Practice Nurse.

Our love to the unique Bev Hartley, Reception then Dispensary Team Leader, who retired in September after many years unstinting commitment to our patients and practice. Reception Team Leader Maddy Smith will now oversee both teams, whilst Lisa Gunson remains our capable and experienced Senior Dispenser.

Health Care Assistant Dawn Hough looks to extend her skills as she joins the staff of Pilgrim Hospital. Best wishes from all of us to Dawn.

Lastly, we say goodbye in December to Jeannie Bee, who retires after many years first as Practice Manager, and subsequently Executive (Non-Clinical) Partner. Jeannie’s dedication, knowledge and wisdom have enhanced our GP partnership, CCG and local community, and we promise to build on her successes.
