Minor Conditions
The NHS expects that in most cases, short-lived minor conditions and symptoms can and will be dealt with by community pharmacists and not by GP practices.
Examples include stings, congestion and earache, sore throats and mouths, coughs, hayfever, flu, sore eyes, upset stomachs, cystitis and thrush, aches and pains and joint swelling, common skin problems.
If you contact the Surgery with these problems, please expect to be directed to a local pharmacy for an appointment with the pharmacist, allowing our doctors and nurses to focus on more complex conditions.
