Last week one in twenty people in England had Covid. If NHS staff have a positive Covid test, national guidance states it may be up to 15 days before they are allowed back to work.

Spilsby Surgery currently has Covid absences in the clinical, care navigator, dispensary and administration teams. This means that all our processes and care is slower than we would wish. The remaining staff can’t work any harder, or for longer hours than they are already offering.

As some colleagues return to work, others will catch Covid at home, in the community and in work. There is no simple fix. Please continue to be understanding and polite in your dealings with our team.
