GP National Survey 2020
The scores of the judges – you – are in! Last year NHS England surveyed 2 million people across England. Thank you to the 141 patients locally who provided feedback.
The practice’s decision not to rush to embrace online triage and consultation tools appears welcomed by our patients. Spilsby Surgery was rated highly in ease of phone contact, and experience of making an appointment.
A special mention for our Care Navigation team – 95% of respondents appreciated their help.
The question ‘How often do you see or speak to your preferred GP when you would like to?’ continues to perplex us. Our GP partners work full-time hours crammed into 3 days a week. All our doctors have other roles (leadership in the NHS, teaching and training, parenting). We strive to provide continuity when it really matters, and consistent team care always.
Thank you for your responses about the quality of care provided by our nurses, healthcare assistants and doctors.
The survey results are a testament to how hard every one of our team works for you. Only 5 patients reported an overall poor experience of the GP practice in 2020 – a year when primary care was turned on its head by COVID. We continue to value all feedback to the practice as we evolve primary care for a post-pandemic future.
We won’t be resting on our laurels.
