School Requests for a Sick Note
Our statutory requirement to issue Fit Notes (Med3) only applies to those eligible for work. There is no equivalent for those in education. A statement of fact can be provided (e.g to demonstrate contact with the surgery), but can only be requested by the school who will be liable for a charge of £20.
